In the second quarter of 2024, city building games continued to captivate players on unified platforms, with five standout titles showcasing notable trends in engagement and downloads. At Sensor Tower, we've compiled the performance metrics for these games, providing a glimpse into the city building genre's landscape.

Isekai:Slow Life maintained a steady influx of downloads, peaking at around 912K in late April before a gentle decline to 445K by the end of June. Weekly active users fluctuated marginally, with an early quarter high of approximately 7K, dipping to about 6.9K, and rising back to around 7.1K in mid-June.

SimCity BuildIt by Electronic Arts witnessed a more variable pattern. Downloads hit a high of 1.4M in late April, with other weeks hovering between 650K and 1.3M. Weekly active users started strong at around 18.6K, dipped to 15.1K in late April, and saw a resurgence to 17.2K towards the quarter's end.
